We Offer

  • You an opportunity to join the Group Business Support Services (GBSS) team as Head of Capital Projects GPMO reporting directly into the Global Head of Capital Projects.
  • Capital Projects executes approximately 250 capital projects per year, which are comprised primarily of new office space fit-

    out, restack and refurbishment works, with an annual capital expenditure budget of approximately CHF 300m. Projects span across three main regions, Americas, APAC and EMEA (including Switzerland).

    The vision for the Capital Projects function is to deliver office fit-out and refurbishment efforts for the Bank through a globally consistent framework that offers the best value to Credit Suisse.

    Specifically, the Capital Projects function is focused on ensuring robust control around the portfolio spend and growing oversight on project planning and delivery

  • You will manage a team of internal and external professionals to drive the capital program and project policies, guidelines and definition of standards through globally consistent operations documentation and tools
  • You will provide oversight on the capital expenditure portfolio, ensuring necessary governance and controls are in place and adhered to
  • You will manage the annual capital program financial planning cycle, monthly capital expenditure forecasting and reporting
  • In collaboration with Capital Projects Regional Leads and colleagues across the corporate real estate departments in GBSS you will be responsible for alignment of project and program work to business strategy
  • You will drive an agenda to ensure improved performance within the capital program
  • Be a part of a highly motivated team that operates in a fast-paced environment and is open to flexible working models
  • 10+ years’ experience in senior Project Management and / or Finance roles in corporate real estate services
  • Commercial astuteness and strong financial management of real-estate projects
  • Analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of project management and construction industry standard methodologies, and ability to strategize and define processes and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking and management skills to enable you to quickly gain trust and build up solid working relationships
  • Hands-on approach and are solution oriented, comfortable working independently as well as in high performing diverse teams and you enjoy working with colleagues at all levels and in all cultures
  • As a standout colleague you appreciate team work and you build up positive relationships across the organization
  • You have excellent written and verbal English communications skills when working with both business and technical teams
