The Global Communications Manager will support business objectives with innovative communications strategies and tactics with a focus on launch brands in Novartis Pharma.

You must have proven record of translating market insights into strategic and integrated communications and patient advocacy plans.

Requires partnership and collaboration with multiple markets and functions, including commercial, medical, digital solutions, regulatory, access and legal.

You will also bring knowledge and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on how digital, social media and emerging technologies can be used in external communications to provide the Franchise with a competitive advantage.

Successful candidate must have a can-do attitude and a willingness to flex based on evolving needs in a fast-paced environment.

Expertise in digital communications is a big plus. You will join a growing team supporting an exciting new product launch for asthma.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • In partnership with integrated comms and patient advocacy team, develop and execute a strategic and integrated product communications plan to support business goals.
  • Advise on and develop digital communication strategy building on product newsflow, content and strategies to support milestones, e.
  • g. regulatory milestones, data releases, global medical congresses, etc.

  • Partner with group digital communications, corporate comms, digital teams to expand reach of news milestones, driving impact online, work closely with countries to co-
  • ordinate activities to deliver tactics, tools and programs for local use.

  • Lead external agency partners, IT support teams and the social media hub to deliver digital / social media initiatives against business / communications objectives.
  • Manage all areas of the digital mix (web, search, social, paid media, mobile) to optimise the user experience of the programs, tracking KPIs.
  • Ensure the right content reaches the right people at the right time through clear definition of target audience and their behaviours.
  • Mindestanforderungen

    What you’ll bring to the role :

  • Undergraduate level required in relevant area (strategic communication / public relations or marketing; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred)
  • Fluent English (oral / written)
  • At least 7 years of communications extensive experience with digital comms, analytics, content monitor-ing / analysis, and social media, managing Digital / Social Media campaigns for consumer good / consumer health industry preferable.
