Define, own, manage and implement the utility strategy in close cooperation with the project team (internal and EPCM company)
Ensure the IBEX utility concept is applied throughout the different projects and aligned with the site utility capabilities
Guide project teams and support project managers in all utility related questions and ensure defined standards are captured
Develop / adjust internal procedures, specifications or standards as needed
Act as interim utility SME for projects (until a permanent solution is identified)
Act as utility SME for feasibility / conceptual design studies
Hands-on involvement in the creation and development of engineering documents
Ensure Lonza standards and requirements are correctly incorporated.
Tasks vary depending on project phase.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills required :
Masters or Bachelors degree in Process-, Chemical , Mechanical- or Bio Engineering and / or equivalent knowledge
In depth knowledge in the area of utilities for pharma and biopharma, project engineering from design to start-up
Fluency in English and German
High energy levels with a passion for what you do
Organized and structured, good attention to details
Strong managing skills in matrix organizations
Ability to adapt to project situations at full speed and solution oriented decision taking
Demonstrates strong leadership -, communication -, and interpersonal skills particularly in stressful situations
