A Day in the Life In this role you define, implement, supervise and drive strategic and operational direction, objectives and targets for the Pain Therapies business in the Switzerland / Austria.
You are responsible to allocate and utilize Medtronic resources in the most effective way. You need to be able to identify and grow human talent and build / develop a strong, performance driven team to enhance Medtronic’s reputation in the market. Must haves
Minimum of 5 years of progressively expanding sales and marketing responsibilities, with consistent strong performance with minimum 3 years experience in a managerial position
Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales & marketing management as well as other functions
Strong proven leadership and coaching / development of the team
Strong ability to get plans executed from direct reports
Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive personal and geographic objectives
Proven track record of good judgment. Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers and subordinates
Proven ability to lead change management within the team
Business planning analysis strategic planning, etc.
Familiar with business policies in a multinational environment
Fluent in German, French & English
Willingness and acceptance to travel up to 60% of the time Preferable
Preferably Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience
Country sales or marketing leadership experience in a medical device international company preferred
Experience in highly competitive market preferred
Knowledge of Pain Therapies business is an advantage
Track record which clearly indicates effective management and motivation of other groups in a multi-cultural environment (multiple European countries)In order to be successful in this role, we expect you to be an entrepreneur and a strategic thinker with a successful track record in Sales and strong people management skills.
