    eCommerce for consumer goods is growing rapidly and requires brands to be prepared to expand into uncharted territories such as dealing with new digital channels or establishing new ones with consumers.

    eCommerce is Sales, Marketing and Technology altogether, and this role will drive the technology pillar by delivering innovative and scalable digital solutions and providing best-in-class technology services to support a rapid business growth plan in the MEU region. Main responsibilities :

  • Work with sales and marketing stakeholders in the business, to shape and evolve the eCommerce technology programs and digital services for the European region including the delivery of initiatives with a hands-on approach.
  • Develop & align the region's eCommerce technology roadmap & adoption program, ensuring in line with region’s short term business objectives, as well as building capability for the longer term.
  • Use technology as a lever to step-change traffic, conversion and basket size in our current online retailing businesses and direct-to-consumer brand sites.
  • Manage & communicate regional requirements & expectations to the global eCommerce capability teams (Insights & Analytics, Direct-to-consumer, Architecture and Project management).
  • Relentlessly drive to results with a pragmatic, outcome focused approach. Mature approach to making trade-offs where required, to deliver business outcomes faster.
  • Broker the use of global qualified technologies & partners where possible to create scale.
  • Work with technology partners and online retailers to create new consumer value propositions, which have the potential to disrupt status quo, strengthen brand equity and drive sales.
  • Infuse expertise / know-how to fuel co-creation and build organization capabilities in the ecommerce space both globally and regionally, enabling rapid re-application of winning concepts / campaigns.
  • Track & Report region's eCommerce IBS program results, assess service satisfaction. Interpret eCommerce analytical data to drive new digital solutions that lead to improved net revenue.
  • Qualifications

  • Expertise in eCommerce retailers in Europe (especially UK, FR, DE and Netherlands), along with eCommerce technologies
  • Extensive previous working experience in eCommerce and Technology
  • Experience with a broad ecosystem of partners in the space of DMP, Programmatic-buying, Big Data, CRM, Product Content mgmt, Direct-to-consumer store performance, Online catalogue & category mgmt
  • Ability to communicate throughout MEU with specific knowledge of retailers like Tesco, Amazon, LeClerc, Carrefour
  • Strong business acumen specific to eCommerce levers that drive results & ability to pivot technology based on constant new informational inputs
  • Good customer facing and communication skills that talk the talk of eCommerce. Be a thought leader in the space of eCommerce and technology
  • Experience managing a cross functional business team and technology stakeholders
