SUMMARYThe Webb Schools is searching for a full-time math teacher for the 2019-2020 school year, as well as a Math Department Chair.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching a broad range of high school mathematics courses and a willingness to collaborate with other faculty on a problem-
based, integrated mathematics approach. We will consider candidates with administrative experience or an interest in a department head position for the role of math department chair, another open position for the 2018-
2019 school year. Each full-time faculty member at The Webb Schools is required to teach, coach and / or provide supervision in the Afternoon Program, serve as an advisor, and perform regular duty in support of the residential program.
In addition, faculty members are expected to contribute positively and productively to a campus community that promotes the development of honor, leadership, and character.
RELATIONSHIPSFaculty members report to the department chair in their discipline for teaching-related matters, to the dean of students for residential issues, and to the director of athletics for coaching responsibilities.
Each faculty member ultimately reports to the assistant head of schools.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEThe optimal candidate will have 3+ years of teaching experience, the ability to handle a range of math courses, and a minimum education of a bachelor’s degree.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSA current California driver license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record will be required. A criminal background check must be successfully completed before employment can begin.
