The Postdoctoral Fellow will work on a highly competitive project of utmost topicality in a well-established research team.
A particular focus will be the evaluation and investigation of radiolabeled small molecules for PET imaging of SARS-CoV-2 disease-relevant targets that enable a better understanding of the conditions that make people susceptible for a COVID-19 and / or sensitive for severe progression.
An important task will be the establishment of relevant in vitro test assays and in vivo models to investigate specific and selective targeting features of the novel radioligands.
The radioligands will also be assessed for their potential as imaging tools in view of a clinical translation.
The successful candidate has completed a PhD thesis in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Medicine or an equivalent field.
