As part of the Investment Solutions team, the candidate will be involved in the Advisory activity for the Long-Only Funds offering dedicated to Pictet Wealth Management clients.
As a junior fund advisor your responsibility will be to assist the senior member of the team in the daily activities and participate in various analysis and support tasks.
Assisting the senior member of the team in the following tasks :
Creating and updating Advisory Funds content in a timely manner.
Monitoring of the fund universe and identification of investment opportunities
Active participation to fund manager meetings and preparation of ad-hoc write ups
Establishing strong partnerships with the Front, assisting with investment proposals / reviews and marketing efforts.
Dealing with ad hoc queries.
Book reviews and follow-up with internal clients and stakeholders
Graduate degree in one of the following : Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering. Preference for CFA Charterholders.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial markets with a background in the fund business (long-only), asset allocation, macro and / or asset class expertise (equity, fixed income)
Excellent knowledge of financial markets with a very good understanding of portfolio construction and risk management practices
Good knowledge of fund managers and more generally of the asset management world.
Excellent ability to timely deliver investment write-ups and short convincing pitch.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), public speaking and presentation skills.
A desire to make customer satisfaction your priority, takes initiatives
Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages would be a plus.
Must be resident in Switzerland.
