Your field of responsibility

We are looking for a Database Administrator responsible for the Swiss based MongoDB infrastructure, acting as a technical lead for this technology, by documenting operating procedures and training colleagues in MongoDB technology.

You will be accountable for providing L2 / L3 technical support, including incident / change and problem management, stability initiatives, life cycle projects and other BAU tasks, which include liaising with Administrators from other regions, Engineering and partnering with Unix, Storage and Network teams.

Your skills and experience

You should be self-driven and flexible to receive cross training to support other Database technologies and willing to work on a flexible schedule, which may be 24x5, 24x7, normal business hours, or may involve occasional weekend and evening work either on-call support or in other forms.

  • 2-4 years Sybase / MSSQL database administration knowledge
  • MongoDB 2x / 3x / 4x skills would be an advantage
  • Proficient in English
  • Good knowledge of ITIL concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
