Global Clinical Supply Management (PTDS) is responsible for the supply of all global clinical trials throughout the lifecycle of our products -
Entry in Human (EIH) to post-approval. The group partners with customers and suppliers to offer best in industry services regarding lead-
times, flexibility and cost effectiveness. The organization includes demand and supply planning, patient kit development based on clinical protocols, the operational aspects of packaging, distribution and inventory management.
The Digital Transformation Manager will be responsible for leading the Global Clinical Supply Management organization through Digital Journey, with the goal of increasing value for our patients through productivity, lead time reduction and cost optimization.
This will involve managing a comprehensive portfolio of digital initiatives, developing agile ways of working, and engaging the organization on future innovation.
Job responsibilities :
Serve as a digital transformation consultant for senior management, with an emphasis on : portfolio management, reporting, communication, change management, and agile ways of working (including Scrum methodology)
Via a digital incubator concept, engage the global Clinical Supply organization to develop bottoms-up solutions and innovation that leverage best-
in-industry digital technologies to meet business needs
Partner with stakeholder organizations on the digital journey, including Clinical Operations (gRED, pRED, PD), Packaging and Device Development, and the PTD Digital Transformation initiative
In collaboration with the Digital Transformation Leader, develop the overall operating model and roadmap for the PTDS Digital Transformation initiative, including : funding, governance, cross-
PT collaboration, and talent development
Job requirements :
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with +7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, IT or related industry
Demonstrated project and portfolio management experience, with a special focus on change management and communication
Experience in some combination of Clinical or Commercial Supply Chain, Clinical Operations, or Technical Development is a strong plus
Strong understanding of both the theory and practice of developing an innovation-focused organization and agile ways of working
Ability to manage projects from initiation to delivery
Ability to independently set work objectives and priorities without direction; proven ability to succeed when given significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Possess a strong understanding of available digital capabilities and platforms within the clinical trial setting
Ability to communicate in English clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally, knowledge of German language is a plus
