Job Description Summary
Key Accountabilities and Duties
Participates in and directs general housekeeping activities in the laboratory.
Discretely carries out a broad spectrum of complex analytical methods in the lab OR is a designated expert in at least one complex analytical method .
Supervises others executing analytical tests and releases results of analytical tests.
Coordinates and executes validation and transfer experiments.
Discretely executes development of simple methods.
Performs OOS and SST-failure investigations
and exhibits confidence in dealing with OOE / OOT-Events.
May have ownership for complex instruments.
Executes special functions in the laboratory
Minimum Required Qualifications / Skills
Completed apprenticeship of 3 years as Chemical or Biological Laboratory Assistant Or equivalent theoretical and practical experience
At least additional 5 years practical working experience in a laboratory with comparable requirements.
Practical experience in usage of electronic data Management Systems.
Well founded knowledge of all lab procedures and several analytical techniques with the demonstrated ability to instruct and guide other technicians.
Good Communication skills (in German)
Good reading comprehension of English

Does perform all activities in accordance with regulatory requirements for that laboratory (cGMP and / or ISO) as well as the applicable Lonza procedures for safety and quality.
