Within Deloitte Zurich’s IT Sourcing Advisory Team we are looking for experienced professionals to help grow our market-leading offering.

  • The Sourcing Advisory team is part of Deloitte Consulting; one of the fastest growing business consultancy firms in Switzerland;
  • our experts develop strategies and implement solutions that help our customers manage even the most complex of problems.

    The Sourcing Advisory Team

    We are end-to-end IT Outsourcing / Insourcing specialists who have unparalleled expertise through the Sourcing lifecycle and with complex transition programmes.

    We have led and orchestrated some of the largest outsourcing deals in Europe and regularly partner with our clients to manage global projects, building a recognised, international brand in the process.

    We typically partner with CIOs and with IT Procurement professionals to advise on sourcing strategy, structuring and running RFP / RFIs, contract negotiation, vendor management and contract exit / renegotiation.

    In addition, the team excels in driving transition and transformation initiatives to help clients realise the benefits of their insourcing / outsourcing decisions.

    Depending on experience, the opportunity to :

  • Take ownership of engagements / large project work streams with a high degree of independence and responsibility.
  • Management of teams and development of staff through our coaching initiative.
  • Build and manage client relationships independently, identifying and creating sales opportunities.
  • Your qualifications

  • English fluency is mandatory. German or other additional languages are advantageous.
  • Several years of previous work experience, ideally with a recognised major consulting firm or a comparable role in a service provider / within industry.
  • In your previous position you have performed a role involving one or more of the following :
  • Manage work packages in one or several stages of the sourcing lifecycle from sourcing strategy development, RFI / RFP development, evaluation, contracting, negotiation and transition design.
  • Manage / play a major role in large scale transition programmes.
  • Manage / contribute to the strategic planning, development, and coordination of sourcing activities.
  • Manage / support contractual negotiations and contract administration and pursued innovative ways to continuously improve spend.
  • Ensure implementation applicable service level agreements and contract terms.
