The THV Commercial Operations Manager EU Countries will provide structure, guidance and support to the THV Field Management Team, by working closely with the local country sales and operations analysts and leaders (BUMs) in order to foster best practice sharing and leverage knowledge, as well as by improving the connection with THV HQ and EU Functions.

The THV Commercial Operations Manager EU Countries will report to the THV Director of Business & Commercial Operations for Europe.

The THV local country sales and operations analysts, while continuing to report directly to the BUMs, will have a dotted reporting line to the THV Commercial Operations Manager EU Countries.

The strategic intent is to drive field excellence, by improving processes and support in all aspects of commercial operations so that the BUMs and Field Management can create capacity to focus on other critical business imperatives to enable growth.

TEMPORARY CONTRACT In this context, the essential job duties and goals will be : Work with the THV Director of Business and BUMs to create consistency in defining the roles and responsibilities of country sales and operations analysts Work with the country sales and operations analysts to create a strong team environment and identity that is focused on enabling the business and providing structure and consistency to internal processes Facilitate and lead the formal and informal exchange of best practice, knowledge transfer, problem solving, and recognition Actively lead by example : organize periodic calls / meetings & workshops, foster initiative for becoming functional expert on key processes, document processes, be accountable for the competency of the team, etc.

  • Core areas to be covered (with the help of country sales and operations analysts) : drive business analytics (e.g. market, sales, case coverage, trends, competitive and market intelligence);
  • monitor field execution of programs; compensation target setting and monitoring (e.g. sales, case coverage, PMOs); provide structure and guidance on the business planning and Finance calendar (including business reviews, forecasts, strategic planning and AOP);
  • support effective field inventory management Compile local and regional data for decision making. Interpret trends and make recommendations in addition to developing dashboards, reports and slides for the Leadership Team Improve the connection between the Field organizations and HQ by championing the needs of both : challenge the status quo and elevate systems issues and opportunities for improvement, ensure that design of new tools / processes is optimal for Field team and meets business needs, lead process improvement projects Minimum required profile and skills Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in Commercial Operations and / or Field Management, preferably in the medical sector Strong Management skills Ability to lead by influence Strong interpersonal skills Clear communication Customer oriented Project Mgt skills Experience with business analytics and consulting is a plus Languages : English, any additional European language is a plus
