Your mission :
The EPFL is a junior research group, looking for a talented and motivated candidate with a passion for engineering research and science to join our team, to support advancement in cutting edge research projects on photonic micro- and nanosystems.
Main duties and responsibilities include :
The position will involve design, modelling, micro-fabrication at the EPFL Center for MicroNanotechnology (CMi) and characterization of photonic micro- and nanosystems, as well as developing related driving electronics. Your profile :
The successful candidate holds a doctoral / PhD degree in microengineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, applied physics, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience with micromanufacturing techniques in a clean room environment is required. Candidates with relevant experience holding a Master’s degree will be considered in exceptional cases.
