Roche ERP Informatics team is part of the Group Infrastructure & Solutions (GIS) global organization. We partner with our business customers in the areas of Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance to strategize, develop, maintain and service ERP solutions.
This role belongs to Roche ERP Architecture, Technology & Integration organization. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with different ERP Architecture Roles and Business to provide strategic recommendations and to improve the value of information assets via their creation, access and use.
Key Responsibilities include : Build Information Architecture : Identifies the information that the Enterprise produces and consumesDevelops single source data strategyDevelop and maintain a strategic cross-solution and multi-functional information landscape and flows for all enterprise solutionsIdentify areas for improvement in terms of information flows and structure, automation, information representation and advice project teams for standard methodology and implementationImplements a subject area and approach for managing information assets and converting the principles of the information architecture into a technology solutionDevelops and sets information architecture standards and methodologiesImprove the overall quality of the enterprise data assets through the effective application of standard methodology in information architectureEncourages a data citizenship approach ensuring we all collectively take ownership and accountability for the data we build, consume, manage and shareMaintain and govern Information Architecture : Maintain enterprise-wide integrity of the information model by ensuring that data design and transformation procedures are implemented and followedEnsures regulatory issues are considered surrounding information assets (such as consumer privacy laws, data retention policies, outsourced data and specific industry guidelines are adhered to)Recognizes and resolves issues between models, ensuring that data and information models are consistent with the ecosystem model (e.
g., entity names, relationships and definitions)Reviews and approves information and data model designs with a focus on those areas influencing interoperability, analytics including compliance with the portfolio information modelEnsures integration of the project logical data model into the enterprise information model, including review and support to API specificationsCrafts and embeds Information Architecture framework components : To maintain repositories for representing the data elements including the entities, relationships and attributes, the information flows, business glossaryTo support information governance model and Data CatalogEducate, mentor and support Information Architecture creation : We need a key contributor to the development and maintenance of an overall IA Framework components including Business Glossary, Standards, Models and Flows, someone who collaborates on the design of the information architecture : support projects, review information elements including models, glossary, flows, data usage.
We need someone who participates in the development of a usable information architecture, which may include a data model, common business vocabulary, which will then be used to guide solution development and achieve consistency of information assets across the application portfolio.
