The Americas Cosmetics Business Developer will generate profitable growth for Roquette in the Cosmetics market segments and drive sales of innovation products in the USA and Canada.

Position Purpose

The North America Cosmetics Business Developer will have the responsibility to develop and grow the Cosmetics business for Roquette and drive sales of innovation products in the USA and Canada.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for managing and growing sales in the North America for the personal care market focused on Skin care, Color Cosmetics, Oral care, Hair care and Fragrance segments
  • Collaborate with Channel partners, as needed, to deliver the best solution to Roquette customers
  • Generate profitable growth for Roquette measurable in variable margin contribution
  • Generate new leads and expand customer activities through a hunter mentality
  • Promote and drive sales of Innovation products
  • Identify, develop and nurture customer-driven Sales Funnel (project pipeline) in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Technical Service (CTS)
  • Convert won opportunities in the Sales Funnel to purchase orders
  • Understand market trends and the competitive environment in our Cosmetics market segments
  • Continuously provide market and customer feedback to all internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and aim to continuously increase the Net Promoter Score (NPS) at customer accounts in the designated regional territory

  • Demonstrated passion and skill sets for self-directed customer interaction, effective customer development, and problem-solving activities

    Qualifications / Requirements

    Education :

    Minimum of B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field (M.S. preferred; MBA is a plus). Other foreign language is a plus.

    Experience :

    5-10 years proven experience in the B2B Cosmetics Industry is required. You have a strong network in the Cosmetics market which recognizes your experience and will help you to enter into the market with an innovative product range.

    Business Trips (Percentage) :

    Willingness to travel extensively, as needed, to perform the role (50%+)
