The Procurement specialist, acting within the COO area team, is the person in charge for the continuous improvement of the Procurement function by promoting the widely adoption of standard approach across EFG Group, in terms of processes, regulations and tools.
The Procurement specialist promotes cost-effective deals with suppliers, in a strict cooperation with the business stakeholders in charge of the impacted services.
Moreover, the Procurement specialist is involved on an ongoing basis in the execution of the procurement duties.
Follow and enforce the procurement policies and procedures, also taking into account the banking industry regulations
Support the implementation of the Procurement Evolution Strategy on a global basis
Ensure that all the contracts and supplier information are properly recorded in the appropriate tools, coherently with the Procurement strategy
Support the business stakeholders across the entire contract lifecycle (vendor selection, negotiation, contract monitoring, contract reporting, etc) including outsourcing services
Contribute to COO budget preparation, cost analysis and financial reporting
Skills and experience
Master Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent)
Proven experience of contract management and outsourcing built in a Procurement department preferably in Banking industry (at least 4 years)
Able to lead procurement projects
Good knowledge of supplier management software
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Quantitative analysis competences
Excellent team player, proactive attitude, highly motivated, reliable and precise
Ability to work under pressure, able to manage priorities in a changing environment
Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
