We are looking for an in-house Legal Counsel to join a growing legal department. You will be the go-to person to handle all commercial transactions and contracts.
You will be evolving within a scale-up environment that is growing globally and moving fast. You are hands-on, astute, and capable of juggling between different priorities.
You will :
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (e.g., Suppliers, Partnership, Clinical and Research, License, Sales, NDA’s)
Assist and provide legal advice to business units and company leadership on a wide variety of commercial transactions
Provide legal advice and support regarding compliance with various laws, regulations and company policies in connection with development of products and services, media communications, market access and customer benefits optimization, marketing and customer training materials
Advise on the necessity to seek external legal support and liaise with external legal counsel in jurisdictions around the world on a variety of matters.
Skills that we look out for are among :
Master of Laws degree from a Swiss University with admission to the Swiss bar
At least 5 years of experience as in-house counsel in the medical device or healthcare field or in a law firm servicing clients in those industries
Working knowledge of corporate compliance-related laws and regulations relevant to the healthcare and medical device fields including regulatory approval, transparency, fraud, corruption, and data protection laws.
Working knowledge of contracts and commercial law in civil and common law countries
Fluent in English and French (both verbal and written); German a plus
Business oriented with an excellent legal judgment and ability to work without continual supervision
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience of working in a medical device company
