You will Implement material purchasing, material planning, inventory control, within Resideo, to ensure correct supply levels for operation.
You will be responsible for End-to-end purchasing process and resolving material-related issues due to supply-based problems, inventory errors, or demand changes.
You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, sourcing, operation, and quality Ensuring a Supply & Demand balanced while driving Inventory targets and use your agility and ability to support internal clients to solve escalations and achieve metrics.
JOB DUTIES :
Releases Purchase Requisitions and converts Standard POs per MRP .
Expedites and De-expedites material according to MRP. Maintain accuracy on the PO confirmed dates by updating confirmation dates from suppliers in PO.
Frequent and pro-active tracking of expected deliveries / pending shipments to ensure On-Time Delivery.
Invoice and payment issue reconciliation to avoid supplier credit holds.
Processes RFQ's with suppliers when necessary.
Plan and review short to long term Supply & Demand for your products.
Keeping stock of raw materials at desired levels, planning the needs and, consequently, ordering raw materials for production.
Proactively addresses, mitigates and resolves the current and potential supply issues from short term up to 12 months horizon.
Publish material potential shortages and shortages on a daily, weekly, etc. basis, as necessary.
Work with Internal Customers and External Suppliers on all supply related matters, such as supply planning, material availability.
Support special projects across Resideo mfg plants and EMS , i.e New Product Introduction, stock relocation, supplier transition projects.
YOU MUST HAVE :
3 years of experience in Purchasing / Planning / Supply Chain preferable for Electronic components.
English fluent and Spanish required.
