Qualifications / special skills
Academic Qualifications : Higher degree in social sciences, international relations, international law, or a related field
Experience : Minimum of ten years of relevant working experience in the fields of arms control, disarmament. public health or infectious disease surveillance.
Thorough knowledge of the Biological Weapons Convention, its negotiation and implementation and related technical and political issues.
Publications : track record of scientific technical publication on BWC matters
Language : Excellent proficiency in written and oral English. Proficiency in another UN language would be beneficial
