Position Overview

The Quality Project Coordinator manages a global work center for the performance of Quality support activities. The scope of responsibility includes hiring & disengagement, coaching and work load coordination for this global support office.

Furthermore, the development of business cases and project management for activities are part of the task portfolio.

The global support office is responsible for administrative, low to medium complexity tasks of repetitive nature for the CSC-

Q department. The Quality Project Coordinator interacts with the Consumer Supply Chain Quality (CSC-Q) department and external staffing companies to identify and organize tasks for the global support office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with CSC-Q management to define needs for global support office resources.
  • Compiles and documents the necessary tasks and expectations for support requests from CSC-Q.
  • Develops business cases for project and resources requests for the global support office and maintains a systematic overview of costs and resources connected to support tasks (Instantis).
  • Generates job descriptions based on support requests and stakeholder expectations.
  • Evaluates cost-efficient global resource distribution for the support office and assist the procurement department with the identification of suitable external staffing companies.
  • Coordinates and where necessary redistributes the workload of the support office contractors and employees.
  • Leads the global support office : Hiring, coaching, development and disengagement of temp and non-temp employees.
  • Ensures the tasks executed by the global support office are fulfilling stakeholder expectations. Identifies and applies course corrections where necessary.
  • Assist in project execution by evaluating support strategies and task descriptions for the global support office.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

    Managing the global support office : Hiring, coaching, development and disengagement of team members. Tracking and distribution of workload. 60%

    Collaboration with CSC-Quality to create business cases and executions strategies related to tasks for the global support office. 25%

    Collaboration with external staffing companies, HR and Procurement for the management of staff contracts, pricing and hiring costs. 15%

    Education :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA / BS) is required.
  • A focused degree in natural sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry), Law, Business studies, Engineering or similar is preferred.
  • Experience :

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetic and / or Food and Dietary Supplements Industry is required.
  • Preferably in a Quality Assurance, Quality Systems or Quality Control related role.

  • Experience with project management and / or the generation of business cases is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point applications is required.
  • Experience in a people leader role is preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Proven ability to contribute and influence others within interdisciplinary teams with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal / external partners to enhance relationships and interactions, including interfacing with senior levels of management to inform, drive change, and provide direct feedback.
  • Experience and demonstrated skills in navigating in a matrix environment, managing complexity, collaborating across boundaries and influencing without authority required.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple, concurrent priorities many needing immediate resolution.
  • Requires excellent organization and prioritization, communication, and guidance skills. Demonstrated ability to accomplish work goals, with a modest amount of daily direction and oversight.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, self-awareness and adaptability required.
