Develop and maintain standalone Java applications (standalone Java applications)
Cooperate on a daily basis with other customer's management and other development teams
Developing software efficiently and strive for continuous improvement of the product quality
Make sure produced code is secure, stable and operating efficiently
Explore new latest relevant technology, techniques, frameworks, tools, methodology and processes
Work closely with and advise Business Analysts, Testers and Management on technical matters
Support test team by analyzing and fixing bugs
At least 5 years’ experience in Java backend development
Strong Java skills
Strong relational database and data analysis skills
Methodology knowhow on how to ensure that project deliverables meet industry best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
Understanding of a broad range of platforms, technologies and tools, specifically : Java, Spring, Shell scripting (Linux knowledge), Jenkins / Maven, Web services, XML, PDF
Able to multitask, accurate and focused on deliverables
Fluent English is a necessity
Nice to have
Understand COBOL on a basic level (understand the interface (copy book) between COBOL and Java)
Docker (coming in the future)
