Within GPS Oncology, our vision is to lead the Cure for Cancer and we do this with the world’s leading portfolio and pipeline of cancer medicines.

We currently have multiple openings in our Breast Franchise for Global Marketing Managers / Leaders to join our Basel-based team, supporting HER2, Breast Cancer.

You will be responsible to support the development and co-creation of the integrated strategic plan (iSP) and commercial tactical plan with I8 / US, in close coordination with medical and access tactical plans.

More responsibilities will be :

  • Support the iSL and iSquad in ensuring the I8 / US strategic plans are aligned with the global iSP
  • Ensure I8 / US business performance is on track by monitoring, benchmarking and engaging in productive 2-way dialogue with key affiliate commercial team members
  • Develop portions of the brand strategy, such as customer segmentation, positioning, branding, messaging, public relations / communications
  • Support global brand alignment by advising I8 / US on appropriate product positioning and branding
  • Lead internal communications including sharing platforms, internal awareness / excitement campaigns, guidance documents and global implementation meetings to align on strategy and execution
  • Be a congress lead, including overall coordination, development of affiliate highlight meeting, pre and post congress communications
  • Prepare the content for specific congress exhibit booths in line with the Brand Roadmap strategy
  • Develop and implement effective promotional materials for the brand / indication
  • Drive promotional tactics such as core sales aids and all materials derived from CSA
  • Goals and objectives meeting
  • Analyze the evolving market environment in collaboration with SI&A and CI
  • Ensure effective rollout of the global brand strategy to the iCommunity and beyond
  • Develop and craft the iCommunity, which may include event planning that engages members and encourages broad best practice sharing
  • Ensure all launch and global material are available via prescribed systems
  • Track tactics and spending to adhere to the global marketing budget
  • As appropriate, provide general support for inquiries from I8 / US markets and direct interaction with them

    Who you are

    To be successful in this role you need at least 8 years of affiliate pharma experience. We're looking for someone with strong oncology disease area experience (must have), strong business acumen, who understands our business model and value proposition, key competitors and other marketplace factors / dynamics.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (marketing, business management or life sciences discipline is preferred)
  • MBA or other relevant Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree is a plus

  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals
  • Financial acumen and strong analytical skills capable of effective and efficient use of market research, business forecasts and other quantitative and qualitative data : demonstrable ability to use such data to help inform and shape strategies, plans, activities, events, opportunities and the like
  • Strong communication & presentation skills : exhibits professional maturity, confidence and competence
  • Strong interpersonal & partnering skills : has proven abilities to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional, often virtual and matrix teams
  • Strong organizational & time management skills : proven ability to effectively manage and complete multiple priorities and projects across numerous time zones
  • Good negotiation skills; Strong customer orientation / focus
  • Ability to travel globally; Fluent written and verbal English
