Preparing a PhD thesis focusing on development of a dedicated three-dimensional treatment planning system for ocular proton therapy using a passive beam scattering beamline
Development of algorithms for fast dose calculation for ocular proton therapy and fast automated treatment plan optimization
Integrating state-of-the-art ophthalmological diagnostic imaging into a treatment planning in ocular proton therapy
Development of innovative solutions in ocular proton therapy with a specific focus on treatment planning
Support teaching activities generally at the institution of the thesis advisor and / or perform specific maintenance tasks
Master’s degree in physics, biomedical engineering, computer sciences or other relevant field
Proficient programing skills in Java, Matlab and / or C / C++
Previous experience with dose optimization and calculation algorithm in radiation therapy will be considered an asset for this position
