Job Summary

Lead the implementation of operational strategies and objectives across growth centers. Understand each product and manage improvement of operational efficiency.

Consistently challenge each aspect of the operational process to improve product margin. Work closely with finance and technology to improve product operations and gross margins and manage an expense budget to company’s expected variance each month.

Research, analyze, validate and document effectiveness of existing operational business processes and develop strategies for meeting Company goals and objectives.

Essential Duties

  • Operational effectiveness : Outline key standards to be deployed across the networks (i.e. visual boards, gemba walks, VAVE brainstorming, performance management, etc.
  • Work with CI team for implementation and support.

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and develop the execution plan (ie improvements ranging from network optimization, make v buy, core competency evaluation, mfg process optimization, etc.
  • to optimize our overall conversion costs.

  • Ensure network optimization has a standard approach to project management and financial analysis.
  • Benchmark internal and external best practices manufacturing process and implement strategies to deploy across manufacturing facilities.
  • In coordination with Engineering, Product Management and local leaders create and manage the manufacturing technology roadmap standard for the company (i.
  • e. Industry 4.0, Additive Manufacturing, Automation, and Robotics).

  • Align NPI required manufacturing input into XPD process. Participate in NPI reviews as appropriate.
  • Ensure capital allocation for operations is aligned with business / corp objectives
  • Champion the operational development programs / rotations, course content, etc.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

  • 15+ years’ business experience in global / international company strong financial skill desirable
  • Specific factory experience (i.e. running factories, managing networks, and rationalization and greenfield / brownfield startups).
  • Technical understanding of factory equipment (i.e. machining, casting, assembly, testing, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in leading significant change in large organization
  • Experience of running multiple, large size international projects in different locations
  • Ability to drive hands on execution in the business and strategic thinking with top leaders
  • Proficiency in change management
