As a Product Manager and member of the Product Strategy team for our Product Center Positioning , you will be responsible for merging market requirements, technology trends, internal innovations and R&D capabilities to derive product requirements.
You will define product strategy, making sure it is in line with corporate strategy and ensuring the product portfolio matches the needs in the targeted market segments.
You will drive the extension of the current currently representing the core of u-blox’ business (i.e. GNSS chips and modules).
Besides you will strongly support the worldwide sales organization in winning business, align regularly with other Product Strategy team members and work closely together with our R&D teams based in Finland, Switzerland and UK.

This role is located in Thalwil (Zurich), Switzerland.
Define and manage product requirements, based on marketing inputs, timelines and resources
Participate in and contribute to roadmap and program reviews
Maintain contact with key customers, partners and key players in the ecosystem for product promotion and seek feedback on products, as well as future customer requirements
Define and specify customer facing documents as a product owner during entire product life-cycle
Responsible for product marketing activities and definition of the go-to market plan
Be the product expert and support Sales and Business Development in technical discussions with key and lead accounts as well as in internal trainings
Define support tools such as evaluation kits, reference designs, drivers, demonstrators
Escalation handling in case of significant non-conformities
Represent u-blox in key conferences and participate in standardization
Your skills and experience
Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Telecommunications
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, product marketing, product management, technical marketing or project management
Experience with electronic designs or location based services semiconductors designs would be an asset
Experience in GNSS or Motion Sensor based technologies would be an asset.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Team player with demonstrated ability to work in cross-cultural, cross-geographical, multi-disciplinary teams
Self-motivated and well-organized personality, who enjoys working on operative tasks as well as on strategic activities
Proficient in English, skill in other languages are an advantage
Available to travel on a 10 - 20% work time basis
