based out of our Zurich office in Switzerland

To further strengthen our Wireless Power Team at our Zurich location we are looking for a Technical Project Lead to develop next generation power / mixed signal technologies.

Qualifications

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in silicon engineering background.
  • Familiar with the silicon product cycle (prefer Power / PMIC and / or connectivity) from concept to delivery.
  • Experience working in a dynamic engineering environment applying real-time crisis management skills.
  • Understanding of hardware and some software integration challenges.
  • Committed to owning / driving project development using well-defined metrics.
  • Excellent communicator and teammate with the ability to work effectively with teams with dynamic strengths and abilities across multiple locations.
  • Program Management experience is a plus.
  • Description

  • Drive silicon development to enable HW Technologies for all wireless power products.
  • Manage silicon issues with multi-functional teams at Renesas and customers that include Design, Verification, Validation, Process Technology, Packaging, Quality and Reliability, System Hardware and Core Software.
  • Report into group VP to help drive technical issue resolution to enable on-time silicon to meet daring product schedules.
  • Drive processes to guarantee high quality silicon definition and timely execution and collaborate with cross functional operational team.
  • Support high-level timeline execution within a dynamic core technology design team in Europe, China, and USA.
  • Focus design teams on meeting schedule and unblocking technical issues by pulling together the right resources to resolve issues with emphasis on data-driven decisions.
  • Drive focused technical sessions with suppliers to track and follow up on issues.
  • Deliver highly focused and detailed issue reporting, bug tracking and communication of program risks and status.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites, as needed.
  • Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless power (WPC) and / or PMIC design.
  • Provides prompt and insightful technical assistance to customers and senior management.
  • Architects systems and develops proof of concept for new ideas via eval / add-on boards and associated software.
  • System level knowledge of consumer wireless charging, battery charging and DC / DC or AC / DC.
  • System and IC definition with architecture definition.
  • Occasionally travel to provide technical assistance and / or training to customers, sales partners and Sales staff.
  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.
  • Primary experience in Power Analog circuit design and IC design from concept to production.
