  • The main purpose of the NPD Manager will be to pilot product development activities, coordinate the different actors involved and participate in the product related strategy of the company across the different categories.
  • Consolidate information and assess project feasibility, evaluate and validate documentation
  • Follow progression of NPD projects and contribute to workflow resolutions
  • Manage and execute cross category projects
  • Coordinate annual SKU management in all product categories, with other departments
  • Support technically the orientations for materials and coating developments
  • Conduct and validate product technical experiments and participate in testing conditions
  • Elaborate and implement working processes
  • Ensure close collaboration and act as an interface between regional and local marketing
  • Provide efficient report at Group level and share workflow analysis and improvements
  • Develop and coordinate relations with internal and external NPD and supply chain partners
  • Coordinate biannual meetings and monthly task forces around product development strategies
  • Ensure technological surveillance to understand company position and capability
  • Cooperate with marketing and commercial departments to keep up with market trends
  • Identify key issues in product offering and supply constraints to evaluate and correct impacts
  • Build up analysis and propose main lines of category expansion
  • Facilitate development of collaborators and their evolutions within the company : ensure development of individual expertise and collective skills of the NPD team
  • Requirements

  • B.Sc. or higher qualification level
  • Experience in a similar industry and with premium brands is a strong asset Global technical expertise and understanding of the company’s activities and project methodologies.
  • Understanding of financial, legal, marketing and commercial notions surrounding NPD activities.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at different levels of the organisation
