We're looking for an outstanding Demand & Supply Planner to join the Vans Planning team in Stabio for a fixed 12 months period.

The Vans Planning Team plays a critical functional role in the business responsible for the accuracy of the consensus demand plan, accurate capacity signals to the sourcing teams and executing the buy in order to fulfil the market demand.

A truly cross-functional process that involving all business departments with a strong level of interaction across the Brand.

Let's talk about the role! Your main responsibilities will be : Demand Planning + Update forecast at style and Color level for the assigned collections and provides updated forecast data+ Phase the demand and generates size curve for both Prebook and Reorder business+ Analyze information regarding budget, sales history, sales / market input and current sales order in order to produce an accurate future sales forecast at style color level / sku+ Drive cross functional alignment on Key product initiatives / collaborations and Special make ups to capture the most accurate demand signal across the receiving nodes+ Coordinate global deadlines and work with Global counterparts to consolidate and align on long term plan Supply / Buy Planning + Define buys at sku level, based on current inventory levels, open purchase orders, production constraints (, lead times), potential capacity constraints and other parameters (, quick turn replenishments)+ Translate Forecast into 'Buy plans', shared with Sourcing teams & Global teams prior and during the Buying season+ Weekly monitoring of main planning KPIs in order to guarantee maximum efficiency+ File consolidation across categories from Supply side (Buy plan, all analysis on data consistency and follow up with planners and global teams)+ By working closely with CS, Sales Ops, DTC and OPS, support supply and demand match control in order to drive optimal order coverage.

Assure on time availability by DC for key brand launches+ Manage / coordinate styles set up on specific parameters+ Maintain the correct item status and last purchase season of goods Reporting and Analysis + Interpret production and sales order data from database+ Conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis to highlight trends, opportunities and performance relative to respective product line+ Provide regular input on issues, analyze and suggest possible system improvements / enhancements+ Conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis to highlight trends, opportunities and performances related both to product lines and distribution channels What you need to succeed?

  • University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics+ Strong analytical skills required to collate and manipulate information in a meaningful way, with attention to details and the ability to interpret and challenge complex data+ Ability to work with large volumes of data from multiple sources+ 1+ year experience in Forecasting & Planning activity+ Fluent English, both oral and written+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, above all Excel (SAP, TXT and Cognos platform are a plus)VF Diversity Vision StatementVF is committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and values the differences among all of our associates, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we live and conduct business.
