You’re not just working at a company; you’re joining a vital, global team. Equinix Switzerland is hiring a Technical Admin Support (m / f) for our Data Centers in Zurich : Responsibilities

  • Assist the local Technical Facilities team in the development and use of preventative maintenance plans to meet the requirements of the Company’s Preventative Maintenance Standards
  • Provide Training and Support to the local TFM Teams to promote efficient & effective use of CMMS
  • Maintain local Data Integrity : Administer all IBXs data in CMMS to ensure data is accurate and up to date (as required by the business)
  • Provide first level of support and troubleshooting for local team
  • Continuously monitor and track the correct data input from the local team.
  • Ensure that all necessary work orders, preventive maintenance activities, job plans and time records are created, updated and used in support of maintenance tasks.

  • Develop and update reporting that assist management to determine the effectiveness of the maintenance programmes.
  • Also, run reports in CMMS to provide visibility to local TFM team.

  • Maintain continuous relationship with local teams to maintain and improve the quality of the CMMS.
  • Manage the collection and input of new asset data into Maximo.
  • Conduct regular data audits / quality checks and report results to local TFM and EMEA Technical Application SMEs
  • Attend regular EMEA Assets management calls and participate in the discussions to drive continuous improvement
  • Regular visits in all Facilities within Switzerland. Requirements
  • Systems administration experience of IBM's Maximo or similar CMMS programme (preferred).
  • Experience of developing and administering a preventative and corrective maintenance programme
  • Data collection and reporting skills using MS Excel
  • General office software experience with a heavy focus on spreadsheets.
  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiatives and willing to work within tight deadlines to meet business requirements.
  • 1-2 years proven experience in data center assets and facilities management (preferred).
  • German and English language with good writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA / US to attend Assets Management meetings or training sessions.
