  • The Role

    We are looking for a new Recruitment Partner to join our talented RPO Recruitment team based in Basel, onsite at Lonza with occasional travel to Visp.

    You will be working as part of a dynamic, and highly successful European Recruitment team which manages all Lonza’s permanent recruitment.

    Based at their largest site, and the site where Lonza was founded, you will be involved in some of Lonza’s most critical and strategically important hires.

    Visp is the focus of continued and significant investment and the workforce will continue to grow at all levels for the foreseeable future as they expand the site.

    Consequently, there are also lots of opportunities to progress and develop within the Talent Acquisition team to grow your skills and experience.

    Key Accountabilities

  • You will be responsible for the full end-to-end recruitment process including;
  • Managing senior stakeholders and working with them through the recruitment process;
  • Attending Senior Leadership Team meetings to help influence the recruitment strategy and ensure they are aware of potential challenges;
  • Sourcing talented and relevant candidates for a range of vacancies, focusing on direct sourcing approaches
  • Screening, assessing and qualifying candidates
  • Conducting initial interview stages with candidates
  • Creating a strong candidate shortlist and presenting to hiring managers
  • Recruiting Senior corporate function-based roles at a high level
  • Skills & Experience

    The role focuses on both consistent candidate management and client responsiveness.

  • Previous recruitment experience gained within an RPO, inhouse or agency environment,
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in either German or Swiss German
  • Conversational English
  • Flexibility to adapt and support other business needs when required
  • Previous experience of recruiting within the life sciences / biotechnology / pharmaceuticals market would be desirable
  • Adaptability in a changing environment, being able to manage changes in processes swiftly
  • Other
