Job Purpose :
In this position, the associate will set the strategic direction for data-driven and disease-focused decision support and forecasting.
Areas of direct responsibility include implementation and management of global product and therapeutic area forecasting for the RLT business, particularly in neuroendocrine tumor, prostate and other radiosensitive tumors investigated as part of early RL T pipeline, BD&L.
The associate will also be responsible with providing strategic guidance to countries on all forecast related initiatives for relevant products and indications.
The role will report to the Global Commercial Strategy and Operations Lead and collaborate closely with Global Franchise Heads, Global Head of New Products, Global AAA Finance and Global Oncology Business Analytics.
Major Activities :
Act as the subject matter expert for RLT long term forecasting and epidemiology
Provide analytical thought leadership to proactively identify emerging market dynamics and trends to global franchise and brand leadership by synthesizing multiple analyses and data sources
Support the annual strategic planning forecast process for RLT, including development of global forecast models, assumption guidance, country webcast & training, and other associated activities
Support the NET & other radiosensitive tumors and Prostate franchises and brand teams in developing the Disease Area Strategy forecast for pipeline products
Provide strategic guidance to regions and countries in leveraging best-in-class analytical tools to inform critical business decisions
Help disseminate and drive adoption of global data and digital initiatives (e.g., OneGo, OneView, OneForecast)
Work collaboratively with the global AAA Finance team, extended Global Oncology Analytics and Finance team, as well as other cross functional partners, to ensure market insights are integrated into forecasts and to support the presentation of results / recommendations for a global audience that includes senior management
Minimum 7 years of experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry or consulting environment; Oncology experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Science / Business / Statistics / Engineering or related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred
Knowledge of big data analytics
Familiarity with data visualization techniques
Long term therapeutic area forecasting; new indications, early products and BD&L forecasting
Country-level brand analytics and forecast experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective team building / consulting skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skill
