Global Marketing Innovation and Execution owns the marketing functional mandate within Novartis Pharma and is responsible for enabling Marketing transformation across 1400 marketers to ensure best in class execu-tion within an evolving digital landscape.

The Global Commercial Execution Function (GCE) was created in 2017 to achieve the objec-tive of transforming and increasing efficiencies, effectiveness & innovation of the Pharma Commercial Organisation.

The group's simple purpose is to create a sustainable competitive advantage that energises and focuses our organisation to deliver business results versus competitors, whilst improving lives of our patients.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Processes : through developing, implementing and ensuring capability for worldwide teams (global and local cross-functional teams, led by the marketing function) to use appropriate clear and simple processes (e.g.
  • Integrated Product Strategy).

    Delivering tangible, effective product strategies based on external insights, customer change, timely launch readiness and clear externally based strategic assumptions to support ef-fective strategic financial planning.

    Ensure consistent application of processes across the lifecycle of our brands from DDP (New Products) through to late lifecycle.

  • Partners : with content holders (WWF and country franchise teams, GCE function) to en-sure application of appropriate technical approaches, mindset and cross functional in-put.
  • This should be through global and local teams working together holistically to de-liver brand performance.

    Act to ensure continual quality together with country / regional management and Commercial Leadership Team in global setting.

  • Execution : Ensure a simple and robust framework / tools to enable the effective meas-urement of the delivery of strategic imperatives to execution.
  • In so doing that, all local and global brand teams are able to effectively track, apply feedback and course correct in a timely manner to continually improve our tangible, grounded support of our cus-tomer facing teams.

    Will partner with other GCE functions to ensure cross-functional approach-driving strong linkage between sales, marketing, analysis and infrastructure etc.

  • People : Drive functional and technical marketing agenda for all levels of marketing with-in Pharma.
  • Including the competencies, skills and knowledge expected of our marketing professionals.

    Ensuring both a profile that is effective for today and with a continued view on skills / mindset required for the future business models.

    Ensure new marketing capabilities are built in line with new commercial models to allow successful implemen-tation.

    Working cross functionally with GCE and other functions.

  • Selection : Develop role profiles for key marketing positions and ensure robust selection and assessment criteria / processes in place with HR to ensure quality talent staffing and development
  • Alignment : with leadership of Global Medical Affairs, Global Patient Access and other critical functions on our process and mindsets that collectively shape brand strategy and deliver execution through tactics and implementation.
  • Collaboration : with PLS to scope provision of functional process support to operating business (launch readiness, marketing tools- ATU etc.
  • forecasting etc.) driving scale and impact. Description du profil : What you'll bring to the role :

  • Minimum University degree, desirable : MBA or a professional qualification
  • 8-10 years' experience at country operational level and minimum 5 years marketing (digital) experience.
  • Country Business Franchise Head and / or Worldwide.

    Country opera-tional experience mandatory

  • Strong cross-functional knowledge understanding how differing functions interact and collaborate to achieve positive outcomes
  • Can demonstrate strong partnership with others in order to achieve outcomes through both support and influence.
  • Can demonstrate effectively championing a cause to effect positive changeDesirable :
