You set new standards for smart buildings and #CreatingPerfectPlaces. Your new responsibilities Develop and provide state of the art device concepts and platform features for todays and future building automation solutions (IoT, Edge, Programmable controller, Panel, ).

e.g. Security features such as e.g. SL2-certification, secure firmware update or secure boot IoT features such as cloud connectivity, device monitoring and remote diagnostic / management Support containerized embedded applications with access to physical IOs Development of BSPs (u-boot, kernel drivers ) Extend and improve the CI / CD build infrastructure Maintain the Yocto based firmware build pipeline running on GitLab CI Develop and maintain the test automation infrastructure based on LAVA Working in an agile development environment while following Scrum and SAFe principles Proactive and close collaboration with our global colleagues across several continents Contribute to open source as well as to our large inner source communities, open mindset like upstream first, foster teamwork and further develop your area of responsibility Your skills and experience Engineering university degree (electronics, computer science or comparable) Experience with technologies such as Embedded Linux, Yocto, kernel, bootloader, drivers, containers Linux administration (build machines, test infrastructure ) In-depth knowledge and tracking of the latest trends in development based on Embedded Linux and OSS.

  • Motivating and proactive personality with self-responsible and results-oriented working methods We are looking for a mid-level person with up to five years of dedicated Linux experience, preferably from an embedded environment Strong proficiency in English;
