Position Overview :
This position provides transferpricing advice and application assistance to legal entities and divisions throughoutthe Caterpillar group.
Thisposition reports to the Transfer Pricing Director and has supervisoryresponsibility.
Position Responsibilities :
This position has responsibility for :
Principal point of contact for transfer pricing matters for group companies in the Europe, Africa & Middle East region
Develop and implement standard legal entity supply chain transaction models for the group’s most important intercompany business relationships
Characterization and legal entity model selection for significant intercompany trader companies
Guidance and advice to business partners on price-setting processes and supply chain transaction set-up (operational transfer pricing and practical application)
Subject matter expert on intercompany financing transactions and arrangements
Tax audit support for transfer pricing positions and issues.
Develop and maintain effective collaboration with Indirect Tax colleagues
Proactive strategic and tactical transfer pricing guidance and advice to select business divisions.
Legal entity expert for a selection of the group’s most important intercompany trader companies.
Limited travel required less than 15% of working time.
Basic Qualifications :
Significant progressively responsible job-related transfer pricing experience.
Deep knowledge and experience conducting functional analysis interviews and preparing transfer pricing reports and documentation.
Experience with complex supply chain structures for manufacturing, distribution, or services multinational groups.
Demonstrated project management capability
Experience or strong desire to develop staff

Bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting.
Top Candidates Will Also Have :
Certified Public Accountant or similar professional certification
Managing and successfully concluding Advance Pricing Agreements
Economic Analyses (comparables benchmarking)
Successful resolution of pricing controversies such as Mutual Agreement Procedure cases
Competence with practical intercompany supply chain application, including transaction price setting
Proficiency or expertise in Economics
Aptitude in executing various types of intercompany agreements
General business income tax compliance, planning and audit skills
Ability to work productively as a member of a team on a cross-functional basis and maintain an enterprise perspective
Ability to understand complex and regularly changing commercial and operational business models
Important if Geneva based role : The incumbent must be a holder of a Swiss valid work permit (B, G, C or be Swiss national) preferably with a European citizenship.
