HEAD OF CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY

For portfolio companies :
Setting the strategies of clinical development in line with industry standards
Handling clinical aspects under regulatory strategies and liaising with the Health Authorities
Managing and reporting of clinical trial data / results
Heading communications with academic thought leaders, investigators, all other clinical stakeholders, and patient organizations
Participating in due diligences and sharing clinical findings of potential in-licensing / M&A portfolio companies with the BD team
Supporting in the clinical aspects and collaborating with the management for the company’s overall corporate strategy
Acting as the organisation’s representative when engaging with third parties (e.g., investors, regulators, medical communities, pharma / biotech industry partners)
Acting as the line manager for the Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs personnel.
Managing the growth of the clinical team in line with the future portfolio expansion.
Qualifications and Background
Is a Board - Certifi ed MD
Has at least 15 years ’ experience treating patients in a clinical practice & acting as a sponsor for IND’s in the pharma / biotech industry
Adequate experience in managing a clinical group ( clinical / medical affairs )
Familiar with EMA and FDA regulations / guidelines and interacting with health authorities
Familiar with clinical research concepts, practices, and GCP and ICH Guidelines
Ability to communicate very well in English and presentation skills of company strategies to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Ability to mentor and lead, with a strong execution mindset
Strong executive presence to build credibility and confidence
Domestic & International travel up to 30% of the time
