Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Identify market trends and suggest actions to defend the market position

Update market segmentation, identify the most attractive segments for Rieter, and define requirements to excel in these segments with Rieter spinning systems

Create gap analysis based on segmentation and define measures towards the strategy

Streamline product management tools and approaches to enhance efficiency

Collect ideas on possible spinning system improvements for commercial strategies; design and coordinate them with key stakeholders and sparring partners

Coordinate and steer the product units with regard to customer requirements, target segments and focus segment

Prepare sales material

Report improvements and critical topics in monthly steering committees with top management

Bring the Rieter recycling strategy to the next level (how to re-set boundaries of closing the loop in textile)

Lead a dedicated young team and get high management attention

You bring that with You

Master or bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Business Development, or similar

At least 5 years of professional experience in business development, product management, strategic marketing in the machinery or textile industry

Proficiency in English and German

Solid experience in dealing with marketing intelligence data

Strong attention to detail with effective communication, presentation, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills

You can assert yourself and get your ideas to the point to convince the top management and key stakeholders

Broad knowledge of the most common MS Office programs e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Textile industry know-how is a great advantage
