The position will support the Distribution Network Optimization (DNO) multi-year program by leading the Transition phases, Starting with the Pilot in Spain.
It consists firstly in Planning all necessary Work Packages to be completed to ensure the on-time transition and Business continuity between current and future Logistic Services Providers (LSP).
The position will then coordinate the Transition phases as per plan, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Legal, TechOps, Commercial, IT) as well as external stakeholders (LSPs).
This process will then replicate for each roll-out phase (worldwide scope).
Also, the position will be responsible for managing LSP transition constraints versus SAP on-going implementation timelines, as well as align with SAP implementation on Roles and Responsibilities.
Transition Planning detailed Responsibilities :
Prepare the Statement of Work for LSP transition Contractual, Operational, and Organizational activities, in consistency with DNO overall timelines
Define and negotiate Timelines with new LSP, in collaboration with Procurement
Identify and mobilize Internal / External Transition Stakeholders
Lead the Transition Risk analysis and related Mitigation Plan
Transition Execution detailed Responsibilities :
Support new LSP contract finalization in collaboration with Internal & external stakeholders.
Implement Operational solution (Supply Chain activities, Procedures, Inventory transfer...) in collaboration with LSP and internal Stakeholders, as per plan
Support the execution of organizational changes (Trainings, Knowledge Transfer )
Coordinate the field audits where necessary to make the Transition effective
Set-up the new LSP Performance Management System (KPIs definition, Performance Reviews, completion sign-off)
Interdependencies Management :
Support consistency between DNO Transition and SAP implementation phasing (Activities, Deployment groups definition)
Support alignment between DNO Transition and SAP implementation teams (RACI)
Required Experience & Competences :
Master’s Degree in science, business or engineering (or equivalent experience), MBA preferred
Minimum 15+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and Distribution
Proven experience in Pharma / Biotech Distribution and Logistics
Experience with 4PL Partners Management a plus
Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)
Six sigma or Lean Certification preferred
Ability to turn Strategy into actionable plans and to reduce complexity
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across senior stakeholders
Self-starter in identifying challenges and elaborating mitigation plans
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication
