The Senior Alliances Manager operates in geographies where a number of different operations can be used to offer some of NTT solutions into vertical markets segments.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Alliances Manager is to manage the partnership lifecycle, including the formation and leadership of the implementation team, creation of joint working teams and governance structures, maintenance and growth of strategic alignment, overall partnership well-being, and expansion of transformative business opportunities.

Manages the identification, creation, and management of key-account / business relationships with select companies to develop solutions and / or create complementary products / services to produce sales opportunities for the company.

Manages individual contributor Alliance / Partnership Specialists within the organization. Defines mutual goals and objectives and builds awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance.

Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances / partnerships. Provides for financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances / partnerships.

Establishes metrics to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance.

Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function."

Job responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, maximise and drive the successful alliances with our key vendors to facilitate product development and deployment for NTT based solutions.
  • Exploring of existing alliances to discover perspectives, information and opportunities which will optimize NTT business and increase profitability (i.
  • e. by using different vendor programs, initiatives, promotions etc.)

  • Defining of the alliance management plans including consistent and systematic monitoring of their execution ensuring sustained success
  • Building of the multi-level relationship with the vendors, including those, in more senior positions
  • Analyses of the business and preparing of the reports as basis for the optimization and business growth
  • Responsible for creating and executing of the marketing plan and activities supporting development plans together with sales director and business unit owners (i.
  • e. events, digital marketing etc.)

    Your profile

  • Bachelor, Master or similar education
  • Knowledge and understanding of Swiss IT market and technology trends
  • Understanding of the technologies such as networking, collaboration or security will be additional plus
  • Negotiation skills and knowledge of the business and solutions to ensure effective alliance and partner management
  • At least three years’ experience in sales, account or partner management. Project management experience is additional plus
  • Good presentation and communication skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Team player
  • Full proficiency in English, at least one additional language required (German or French), ideal candidate shall be fluent in all three languages
