Kelly Services (Switzerland) AG is one of the leading recruitment companies worldwide. Providing professional and innovative services, we recruit workforce for temporary and permanent positions in the Life Sciences sector.

For our client, an international Life Science company in Basel we are looking for a

temporary starting asap for minimum 6 months)

You will be responsible for all aspects of the talent acquisition process and internal job opportunities program, which result in the selection of the best talent for the organization.

This includes but is not limited to : selling the employment brand to candidates and employees, identifying areas to source qualified candidates, executing sourcing strategies to attract candidates, counselling managers on position specific recruiting and selection topics, background checks and initial offer activities.

Key tasks and responsibilities :

  • Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all Talent Acquisition touch points to enhance the Employer Brand
  • Ensure detailed understanding of the talent segmentation and each position in own area of responsibility in particular
  • Act as the single face to the internal or external candidate as well as Hiring Manager
  • Take a "project lead" approach to each and every recruiting case and mandate
  • Manage the recruiting process end-to-end, ensuring all KPIs, global standards and metrics are met and / or exceeded
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
  • Conduct telephone interviews to assess motivation and cultural fit, review any gaps in the resume and assess suitability for the position
  • Create shortlist of most suitable candidates for Hiring Manager
  • Supervise the interviewing, selection and hiring process to ensure adherence with legal regulations and internal guidelines
  • Coordinate all process around the package preparation, the definition of the employment details as well as the contract management
  • Education

  • University degree in Human Resources / Business admin or related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English is a must
  • Skills / experiences

  • Equivalent working experience in HR 4-5 years in the Life Science industry;
  • Good business acumen
  • Combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience is preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high requisition portfolio while maintaining customer service standards;
  • Demonstrated experience using resume databases, internet search tools and / or social networking to find and attract top talent;
  • Demonstrated ability to instill trust, analyse and solve problems while anticipating the needs of our business partners;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to handle delicate or difficult situations with finesse; ability to work under stress; ability to exercise strong judgment in difficult situations;
  • Ability to manage partnerships with third-party executive / retained and contingent search vendors;
  • Outstanding computer skills in a Microsoft environment; working knowledge of HR or recruitment technology;
  • Team oriented and cooperative (basis for handling multiple priorities across business units);
  • Develops alternative solutions to problems, handles complex problems independently.
