Main duties

The CapEx and Lifecycle Analyst (Analyst) will play an important role in the portfolio and lifecycle team of Selecta. The Analyst will develop and generate regular reports, ad-hoc analysis and deep dives, to backup business decisions around machine portfolio, equipment lifecycle and equipment utilisation with data from all Selecta countries.

The Analyst, as part of the portfolio and lifecycle team, develops a set of manageable KPIs and reports to support business decision making.

He leads the setup and adjustment of required processes to automatize the defined business reporting across organisation.

As major part of his day to day duties the Analyst will play an important role in the investment process team and drive business case analytics going forward.

KPI definition and Reporting

  • Build on existing KPI and define together with relevant stakeholders a set of core KPIs regarding : operational and technical performance of equipment equipment / asset utilisation and investments (CapEx) lifecycle indicators to facilitate lifecycle decisions
  • Develop useful and efficient reporting formats for regular reporting across countries
  • Automatization of data gathering and reporting

  • Build community of stakeholders across countries to enable efficient data gathering
  • Drive transformation of manual data gathering to automatic standard reporting in alignment of IT roadmap
  • Investment Process & business case analysis

  • Support investment process team with efficient analysis on Business case accuracy and realization Capex requested vs. used
  • Support country organisations with build-up of an efficient request workflow
  • Drive transition to a standardised and efficient business case evaluation process (methodology and tools + implementation)
  • In this role strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, understanding of financial metrics and good communication with all involved stakeholders are key to success.

    Any know-how in technology used for data collection will be a plus.

    Professional competence

  • Business engineer with analytics or FP&A background
  • Good understanding of financial business aspects
  • At least 3 years experience in KPI definition, data collection and reporting
  • Able to create professional reporting templates and dashboards
  • Able to develop, document and implement structured and unambiguous business processes
  • Experienced in data gathering, report building and analytics
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in similar environment
  • Profile

  • Fluent in English (written and oral); other European languages are an asset
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Structured and well organised working method
  • Profound communication skills and multicultural competencies
