TheCollege of Arts and Science invites applications from qualified individuals for3 full-time four yearlimited term faculty positions in the area of Mathematics and Statistics at therank of Lecturer.
Thesuccessful candidate will be expected to teach six courses per year with anemphasis on foundational and service oriented first and second yearundergraduate courses in Mathematics or Statistics.
While the primary focus ofthese positions is on teaching, Lecturers are also expected to contribute tothe broader goals and activities of the Department.
The Department offersundergraduate courses towards degrees in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics,Mathematical Physics, and Statistics, as well as several service oriented courses forstudents in Commerce, the Life Sciences, and Engineering.
Department membersare also engaged in research, interdisciplinary and internationalcollaborations, curriculum improvement and development, community outreach andpromotion of the Mathematical Sciences.
The College of Arts andScience offers a dynamic combination of programs in the fine arts, humanities,the social sciences, and the sciences.
There are over 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students in the Collegeand 295 faculty, including 12 Canada Research Chairs.
The College emphasizes student and facultyresearch, scholarly and artistic work, interdisciplinary programs, communityoutreach and international opportunities.

Salaryband : Lecturer : $77,613 (Floor) to $99,565 (CDI Ceiling)
