DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team in Lausanne, Switzerland. You will join our development team in Lausanne, focused on delivering a new product to the market while working in an agile environment.
Within the team, your main task will be using your QA engineering expertise both to design and develop the software testing framework, and contribute to best testing and QA practices in the team.
You will also be in charge of the development of a new test automation suite and responsible for executing the final validation steps of our desktop photogrammetry software.
You have a proven track of understanding the importance of automated testing, balance of manual and automated testing and when the testing operations must be scalable and maintainable.
By providing constant feedback to developers and product management you will be one of the key figures contributing to the product's robustness, reliability and its overall success.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify testing procedures that can or should be automated, and work closely on the design and architecture of those procedures with Pix4D development teamsDevelop a consistent and scalable testing framework to accelerate new products’ developmentLeverage Pix4D test infrastructure to automate the tests and track software performance indicators over timeCollaborate in the full product life-cycle, from early concepts and prototypes to full deploymentGather requirements for tests from the development team and from product specificationsRequirementsAt least 4 years of experience in software quality testingExcellent knowledge of QA tools and practicesFormal QA certification / educationGood knowledge of Python or other scripting language (C#, js, etc.
Good understanding and experience in Agile developmentExperience with Squish is an advantage Knowledge of photogrammetry, GIS or computer vision is an advantageUnderstanding of continuous integration systems is an advantageProficient English language skills, written and spokenExcellent organizational and communication skills.
