Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division is looking for aManager Cash Flowfor our Global Pharmaceuticals Headquarter based in Basel, Switzerland.

Position summaryOwn, lead and execute the EPD division strategy - plans for cash flow delivery and improvements across all working capital streams.

The position is responsible for planning, execution and reporting activities for cash flow management and will be the primary contact point for EPD monthly reporting activities, LBE planning, corporate reporting and analysis for cash flow performance.

The role will be involved in setting annual cash flow strategies and cascading them within the planning process to BU’s / Regions / affiliates while working closely with the different organizations to deliver on corporate / EPD cash flow goals.

Main responsibilities : Lead cross functional cash flow initiatives with teams across Abbott EPD with primary focus on partnership with commercial, operations, finance and CFS.

Create and own cash flow extended reporting mechanism and manage monthly, quarterly and annual planning activities within EPD.

Create tools and support on all activities of onboarding, training and knowledge transfer regarding cash flow principles, supporting systems and processes to enable goal attainment.

Develop and execute on the necessary transformation activities, guidance, related processes and policies governing cash flow activities at EPD division level.

Support corporate directives for cash flow initiative involving EPD TOP 15 affiliates across all working capital streams with primary focus on DPO requirements.

Develop benchmarking / analytical comparative data for EPD and peer group competitors on periodic basis, sharing external and cross-divisional best practices across all working capital streams.

Support EPD division internal periodic / adhoc analytical needs for cash flow management including cross-functional activities with CFS and other corporate functions such as GPO / other divisions.

Play the lead role in supporting the division reporting of cash flow during LBE / Plan cycles, providing necessary guidance to affiliate / regional teams and acting as a central single point of consolidated cash flow knowledge.

Develop the strategic insights and plans for use of diverse financial instruments to improve cash flow generation in alignment with corporate direction.

Qualifications : University graduate with Finance background; MBA is a plus.+10 years of broad experience within finance management functions requiredPrior experience in driving complex, strategic, cross functional activities / team is a mustPrior experience in pharma / healthcare industry preferredAbility to lead and influence through othersAbility to work across diverse and broad transformation cultureSound systems knowledge, preferably with comparable to EPD / Abbott operated systems Do you like the sound of this job and think you’ve got what it takes?
