The Product Manager, Digital Health Vision Care will be responsible for driving the implementation of the Digital Product Innovation Strategy and will partner with the International Head of Omni-Channel and Digital Transformation and Head of Product, Digital Health on the Global Feature Roadmap.
In owning the implementation, the Product Manager will partner with Engineering on Agile Sprint planning to deliver new features enhancing the overall Digital Product value proposition.
This individual will also partner with the local market team on go-to-market launch planning. This Product leader will also work to identify KPIs and progress against them once outlined in partnership with the Product Innovation Leadership Team.
Product Feature Development should be aligned to the Roadmap and also address customer feedback received to drive greater adoption and utilization.
An important aspect of this position is driving the digital strategy tailored to each global region’s needs. This requires the Product Manager to collaborate and communicate with various cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Local Sales / Commercial and IT teams, and Digital Operations, in support of Alcon’s Global Digital Transformation.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Lead Engineers to shape the end-to-end product strategy and drive business value
Define KPIs and align them with Product Innovation leadership
Stay in sync with the Dev Engineering team on priorities and day-to-day decision making
Deliver features aligned to the Global Product Roadmap
Ensure local team execution aligns with overall Product Area vision
Support Agile ways of working
Drive simplified usability to reduce the amount of time required from the local sales team in new feature onboarding / adoption by accounts and patients / consumers
Ensure interfaces and dependencies are considered
Perform regular product demos with the larger cross-functional team
Stay current with latest trends in digital health
Deep experience in digital product development (and marketing) ideally in a related industry
Experience with designing creative, quality consumer products, as well as enabling business capability and objectives through technology
Can make data informed decisions and translate customer and business insights into a product feature
Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, A / B testing, rapid prototyping, and analytics
Strong project management, analytical skills, and very skilled at user story and acceptance criteria writing
Knows how to form alliances and bring together multiple internal and external stakeholders to execute on a common mission
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Solid understanding of Lean and Agile software development processes

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience working in a Digital, Commercial, or Marketing role in a matrix organization
Equivalent training and work experience relevant to the duties of the position will be considered.
Experience in healthcare or eye care is a plus
Education and Work Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
