We invite applications for one or more ladder rank faculty positions at the ranks of Full or Associate Professor, with an expected start date of July 1, 2019.
Candidates in all areas of pure and applied mathematics are encouraged to apply. Professorships and Associate Professorships carry tenure.
Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
A PhD or equivalent degree by the application deadline, in Mathematics or a related field, is strongly preferred. However, exceptional candidates with ABD ( all but degree ) or equivalent status at the time of application may be considered.
The successful candidate must complete the PhD or equivalent degree within one year of the expected start date.
Tenured applicants should have well-established outstanding research accomplishments. Serious consideration will be given to the candidate’s potential for success in mentoring PhD students, the candidate’s record in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and evidence of effective leadership.
Professional service, including service promoting access to and diversity in higher education and the academic profession, will also be considered.
