Your main duties will include the following :

  • Developing and refining the eCommerce Strategic Initiative roadmap for driving business on own eCommerce channel and for 3rd Party Online channels.
  • Acting as a sparring partner to SVP eCommerce Center of Excellence, supporting decision making by ensuring that scenarios and risks are properly considered.
  • Driving forward the definition, implementation and anchoring of strategically important elements such as business rules, shared KPIs etc.
  • across the organization.

  • Ensuring a proper progress and risk monitoring of the eCommerce Strategic initiative.
  • Bringing in own ideas on how to drive the eCommerce Strategic Initiative for our Consumer Goods Business, while acting as interface to other strategic initiatives to ensure a close link and alignment of priorities to maximize business results and success, in close collaboration with the strategy team.
  • Driving new country expansion by defining market entry strategy for own eCommerce, 3rd Party Branded and / or 3rd Party Online channels.
  • Creating the right environment & conditions to grow eCommerce and implement the eCommerce Strategic Initiative, such as integrating relevant stakeholders, removing roadblocks, preparing presentations for the Management Board and the wider organization and acting as eCommerce ambassador educating the organization on principles of eCommerce.
  • Delivering business plans and analyses for fact-based decision making with the support of Controlling.
  • Supporting SVP eCommerce Center of Excellence in building, developing and retaining right skills in the organization to realize eCommerce objectives.
  • Building an external knowledge exchange network with other eCommerce practitioners and suppliers and continuously monitoring and assessing new solutions across all areas of eCommerce.

    We are looking for a motivated team-player, who brings along the following background :

  • Completed University education in a relevant field
  • At least 8 years of experience in eCommerce (mobile first mindset preferred), from a consulting or specialized online player environment
  • Profound skills in eCommerce, ideally coming with an entrepreneurial mindset or experience in the eCommerce start-up scene to excite the organization about eCommerce
  • Profound analytical skills, experience in developing business plans and roadmaps to drive eCommerce growth
  • Proven communication and presentation skills across hierarchies
  • Excellent lateral influencing skills and ability to effectively collaborate and interface with all levels of the organization
  • Fluent English necessary
