The Maintenance Planner Intern will assist with preparing all maintenance requests from start to finish, starting with the communication with the customer and ending with sending out the original work report to the customer once the work has been completed.
Additionally, part requirements need to be looked and discussed with the MRT on site and sourced in accordance with the schedule of the aircraft.
They will also ensure all requirements of regulations (EASA Part 145) are met at all times.
In your role, you will :
Preselect the requested work is within the approved Scope acc MOE
Prepare the work documents for the CS and the mechanics
Source required spares / material / tools iaw the aircraft s manuals including the logistics from the vendor to installation of parts -especially in time critical AOG situations
Prepare Work Reports for customers
Maintain history files for customers
Plan maintenance work in cooperation with customers and manage the company planning tool (QCMMX)
Track life limit parts / consumables / tools in BMD
Keep the maintenance data library up to date
Be responsible for the complete communication between the operator and engineer from start to finish of any maintenance input
Prepare Travel arrangements for engineers in case of AOG scenarios
Ensure all received parts are received with correct documentation (Form 1 / Form 8130 / CofC) and timely return to vendor if needed
Prepare certificates (e. g. Form 1)
As our ideal candidate,
You have administrative capabilities
You have technical knowledge
You have knowledge of applicable EASA and FAA regulations is a must, additional regulations such as applicable for Isle of Man / San Marino / etc. (preferred)
You have knowledge of Manuals (i.e. MPD, AMM, IPC, etc.) and thorough understanding of aircraft system including regulations (e.g. MEL)
You have technical understanding for preparation of technical publications
You have technical A-level
You have fluent language skills in English (level C1 as a minimum)
