Plan, coordinate and supervise the preparation of the financial statements for the 10 European legal entities for the incorporation into the consolidated financial statements
Lead, coach and develop the accounting & treasury team
Oversee all accounting activities for the region
Ensure the correct recognition and measurement of the business transactions in line with US GAAPs and company accounting policies and procedures
Prepare and File the statutory accounts for all European legal entities with the support of local advisors
Maintain the internal control system for the key financial processes (purchase to pay, expense approval process, segregation of duties ) and ensure compliance with SoX procedures
Lead process improvements by developing innovative solutions for Accounts Payables management using digital technologies
Lead cash management and administer banks
Manage EMEA local accounting providers and associated fees
Be the primary point of contact with external auditors
Train and advise the organization on Accounting matters and policies
Closely cooperate with Deputy Corporate Controller for all areas which impact financial statements
Experience and Qualifications
Chartered accountancy qualification
10+ years of increased responsibility in accounting within an international environment
Fully embrace our Leadership Competencies model including but not limited to : Successful track record in leading, managing and developing direct reports with regard to talent coaching, recognition and empowerment, ability to build trusting relationshipsStrong communication skillsExcellent organization skills
Excellent knowledge of US GAAPs
A hands-on approach whilst being able to see the bigger picture
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Fluent in English, others European languages a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AX experience a plus
