Role Outline :
The Client Director will manage a portfolio of accounts in a specified vertical jointly with your team of Account Directors.
You will maintain and grow the business by promoting the full range of services in the lead to active clients and jointly with the growth team to passive clients, hot / cold prospects.
The Client Director is reporting directly to the Head of Client Leadership for the region or country.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities :
Responsible for the P&L of a portfolio of existing clients in the region / vertical
Jointly with the sales team responsible for establishing new clients in the region / vertical
Working in close collaboration with the client you are responsible for defining the account targets from a strategic, functional and financial perspective
You are leading the account team from a commercial perspective and are working closely on achieving the aforementioned targets
Driven by a high level of Customer and Employee satisfaction you are positioning yourself as a trusted advisor internally and externally
Build and manage the growth pipeline for the portfolio
Responsible to achieve the monthly growth and revenue targets and thus progress towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the manager
Creates, negotiates, and closes commercial agreements
Organizes, prepares, and conducts business review meetings to ensure clients are satisfied
Achieves client relationship targets and KPI’s
Escalates and resolves areas of concern as raised by clients
Carries out client satisfaction surveys and reviews
Liaises with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively
Manage financial closing activities (invoicing)
Updates the CRM on a daily basis
Qualifications and Experience :
Profound experience in account management, B2B sales, preferably in professional services, enterprise software solutions, cloud space, IT sector and has the ability to develop a good understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Optimally an in-depth experience / knowledge on the relevant vertical ( NPO / NGO, CPG, Retail, Financial Services, Insurance, Public, etc.)
Profound track record in delivering on cross- / up- / newbusiness sell opportunities
A proven track record respectively experience in digital topics and delivering digital projects.
Background in Marketing, IT or Business Administration or comparable qualification
Networking mentality with a winning and friendly personality
Ability to deal on an Executive- / C-Level
Ability to successfully develop client relationships and deliver on financial targets
Willingness to travel
Has built strong relationships with client, meeting regularly to review business challenges
Proficient in managing the pipeline using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce CRM
Can evidence a track record of increasing revenue by hitting or exceeding personal targets
Languages : Ability to negotiate in French and English (written & orally)
